Please explain to me how the fur is created in these screenshots. It can be seen that the fur was created technically (with modifiers, perhaps), but the specific approach is not clear to me. Could you explain everything step by step?

This is the "fins and shells" technique, and the modeling and uv processes will be very app specific.

Looks like hair cards to me but I could be wrong. Did you download this model from somewhere or is it your own?
