[Full Time + Remote] Senior Compositor

Location: Remote UK/GMT timezone
Reports To: Head of 2D
Start date: Ongoing between December 2021 & March 2022
Key Purpose of the Job:
To seamlessly integrate all the layers or elements of a shot, including live-action and CGI.
Senior Compositors work closely with Visual Effects and 2D Supervisors to composite the numerous elements that complete a visual effects shot. Taking on the more complex shots in a sequence, senior compositors are expected to quality check their own work to a high standard, communicate and then solve any issues arising and are expected to maintain continuity between shots in a sequence.
Required competencies:
- You must have a minimum of 6 years VFX industry experience
- Be expert level in Nuke
- Have proven experience with chroma screen extraction and integration, seamless integration of live action, miniature and CGI sources and fx design and implementation
- Be able to take part in client reviews
- Be able to follow production methodologies, develop creative approaches and problem solve
- Consistently deliver excellent results with minimal supervision and have good time management even when under pressure
- Confidently perform setup tasks for a small team
- Have a critical eye for detail
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
