Hello everyone! I am new to this site and it's my first post here. Over the past few weeks I worked on a university assignment in which I was tasked to do a handpanted, stylized prop. I drew inspiration from World of Warcraft and wanted to create a backpack that would fit a blood elf mage. I modeled the prop in 3ds Max where I also unwrapped the UVs, then I imported it to 3DCoat and Photoshop to do the painting. This was my first time doing a handpainted prop, and admittedly it was a bit of a challenge considering I usually paint traditionally, and rarely digitally. I love this style and would like to create more projects, so any feedback and critics are more than welcome!
Thanks!

Good stuff! I think you can have some color variation but putting a gradient overall. You also seem to have ambient occlusion off/ don't have any painted shadows. I feel like that will give the model some more depth. Finally I think a greater distinction for the different materials would help a lot. Hope that helps!
Hey, thanks for the feedback! You are definitely right about the ambient occlusion, it looks much better. I will rework it a bit to make the points of interest stand out more.
