Hello everyone, i haven't posted here for a while, i've been learning unreal engine 4 lately aiming for environment art.
Here's two environments that i've made lately using market and megascans' assets. (i haven't used my personal assets yet)
i'd like to know how far my environment art skills are from being able to produce a decent portfolio piece fit for the gaming industry.
FIRST ONE : inpired by RE7, an old house and moody atmosphere.
SECOND ONE : a forest, i played with the lighting and atmospherics, also the scatter tool, and the terrain sculpting

So i have decided to use one of these environment as a background for an asset's showcase.
It's an asset i worked on for the Artstation challenge "Untamed - When Animals Ruled the World" but didn't get the chance to finish it, so here i am resuming the work.
This is a semi realistic approach to the concept (which is shown below)
Testing the WIP materials under two different lighting conditions, any feedback is much appreciated.
Pushed the textures a little bit, yet i still have some more work to do before going in engine and design the environment.
