Small inde company making 4x4 km landscape, need tips
we are looking to make a 4x4 km bit of terrain, preferably generated.
what tools do other indies use/would use for this application?
I have my eye on world creator at the moment, is this what we should use?

in general world creator is a fine app with plenty of tutorials and active support and AFAIK probably the lowest learning curve for terrain generators.
But there is tons of options and each one brings its own pros and cons. World Machine has more flexibility especially when it comes to tiled worlds, though if 4x4km is you limit that wont play into effect.
Really depends on your project and teams specifics.
