Expert Unity UI Engineer needed for early stage team with experiences at Uber, Google and Facebook

About the opportunity

We're a group of friends with experiences developing products at Google, Facebook and Uber who are working on a new idea. We've got a great team in place and an app that we're actively testing on our own phones. For this role, we're looking to bring on another engineer who has experience building Custom User Interfaces (UI) in Unity to help finalize our MVP. The ideal candidate would have strong experience building Custom Unity UIs for mobile applications, and will be well accustomed to delivering on specific requirements provided by a design team.

Responsibilities

  • Custom UI development in Unity
  • Delivering on UI/UX requirements from Product and Design
  • (e.g. building toward the specifications of design mockups in Figma)


Skills & Requirements

  • Strong experience making custom UI in Unity
  • Experience shipping high quality Unity experiences (e.g. with a studio or major platform)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to different artistic styles
  • Self-motivated with a passion for solving problems
  • Availability to work up to 30 hours per week


Salary

  • Compensation: Fixed-Price Projects / Milestones
  • Paid following completion of every 2-Week Sprints
  • This is a contract position to start, but there is also the potential to join long-term after MVP launch
