Does anyone know how the building interiors of Matrix Awakens are made? Based on the stretching, it looks like a combination of fake interior cubemapping mixed with some parallax occlusion but there are also empty spaces between the objects so I can't figure it out.
at 0:24 you can clearly see the bed becoming flat when moving to the right. (the yellow room) .So it's a mix of Geo + POM maybe. Or the rooms were baked. So there's a height map and normalmap. This way they are using some kind of tesselation technique mixed in.

Or this way =)cubemap
It is more than a box projected cubemap though. You can see 3d objects like beds, desks and lamps in the room.

basic box projection judging by that stretchiness
Yeah it could be the dual depth relief mapping that creates the objects on the front.
