real zebra patterns are extremely difficult to generate procedurally (trust me, I spent months developing procedural animal patterns that nearly worked but not quite well enough)
for something a bit more stylised I think you'd do well finding a decent wood plank tutorial and working from there. it's basically the same problem, you'd just want to adjust the scales and mess with contrast after
it also might be worth messing with the error diffusion node, that can create some quite natural looking branching patterns
