I have a model for which I need to make brick arch. But I can’t do it because I don’t understand how. Please, give me any information and/or tutorials. Screenshots from 3dsMax this is what I did(I think it's terrible). I have a desire to model it brick by brick and bake it into geometry, but it takes a very long time...
I know there is a thread on this topic, but it talks about increasing the number of polygons on the arch. This method does not work for me, because I am making a game asset.
Add more geometry (vertices are pretty cheap these days). Or make a specific arch texture, with the curvature baked into it. If you need to reduce the size of the texture, create 1/3 of the arch and repeat the UVs.
