Hey guys, one of the things i use constantly for nice and straight UVs is welding UVpoints which are not connected vertices.
A good example would be say the points between fingers on one side of the hand, or centerlines of pants etc.
While you can do similar things with pinning in other apps. what pining doesnt do is relax points on the line against each other. with my method those lines even out themselves automatically
sadly image tags dont work with the links.
this used to be common practice in max, but was "removed" at one point. Autodesk claimed to me, that it was a bug, is illegal and shouldnt be possible. Well it is still in their code and you can unlock it via script.
As i show this to our Maya and Blender Users they are often in awe how quick and easy this is. so i wonder, is there something like this for other softwares? As said, i know pinning but it is just not the same, there are ways around it, no question. but is there a way to turn this on in other softwares?
