New to 3D modeling, could someone help or maybe point me in the right direction with this project.

Hey, I am trying to make a handheld game console using raspberry pi 4 and I've done the software and hardware part (a lot of soldering and sweat) and now I am stuck on 3D printing my case.

I found this case right here that I like: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2248709 , the only problem is that I am using a more advanced controller and it does not fit in the case by my measurements. I am using this controller right here: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B08Y9RC49N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o02_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and I would need 6mm more space on both sides of the case but without modifying the width or height of the screen hole or buttons. Any help would be super appreciated.

Move the verticies that you need to move? It's hard to help without a reference model, and it's bad form etiquette to ask for modeling advice without posting screen captures.  If you're not going to show us anything, lurk more and watch tutorials.
