Hello,
I started working on a game ready SP2022 model and have just about finished the high-poly model except for a few minor details. The gun looks fine, but when the slide is locked backwards there are some noticeably missing details that people might notice. I just have some questions about what I can and can't get away with in terms of skipping details. What do professional artists do about these parts?
In the front of the gun the lower receiver has no details when the slide is locked, but I can't find reference if it actually looks like that or not.
In the back, all the internals become easily visible when the slide is locked and it looks really blocky and unrealistic. I can't really find reference for this piece and I don't know what it should normally look like as I don't own an SP2022, so I feel a bit stuck.
What should I do about this? Any feedback is appreciated.
Thank you.
