Aries VR is a young UK startup that’s accelerating aviation training using the power of immersive technologies. We are currently developing a multiplayer virtual reality pilot training solution for the Oculus Quest. Our vision is to create a metaverse community where aviation enthusiasts can socialize and engage in challenging, certified, detailed, step-by-step VR lessons. Boosting their confidence while saving them time and money as they get their licenses. This includes pilots, drone pilots, cabin crew, aircraft engineers and astronauts. From there we aim to expand the platform into the wider STEM sectors. In order to reach this vision, “we need you!”

Responsibilities:
• Identify, advise and implement the best art style for the project
• Review and optimize new and existing 3D art and game environments (aircraft, airport, landscape, props) for Oculus Quest, PC VR and use on our website, social media platforms.
• Design a pilot briefing/ dressing room using ready-made 3D models or self-produced models
• Build a small collection of accessories player avatars can wear or interact with
• Organize and manage the Digital Asset Library
• Establish best practices and lead other artists who join the project later on
• Attending team meetings to discuss and make recommendations on art-related issues, work progress etc
