Hey Guys,
For my family it has become a tradition to give away books on Christmas, ever since we all became adults. This year we are planning on having presents not for specific people, but something everyone could be interested in.
This year I also
got my first Job in the VFX Industry as a 3D modeller in a big VFX
Studio. Since then my family members, especially my father keep asking
me question about how stuff is done in Movies/in my Studio. He never
though about theses question before, and I’m not even sure he knows what a
greenscreen is.
So I was wondering if there maybe are some good books
out there, that talk about these kind of things, but not go into
much detail.
I don’t want a book for aspiring artists, wanting to
learn this in depth, but rather a very basic explanation of stuff. For
example, explaining in a few sentences what a green screen is, etc.
Do some of you know any good book fitting that description? It can also be about some more specific stuff, but always have an audience in mind, that does not know much about it.
It could also be something different, maybe a book that tells you about the VFX industry or a fictional Story about an artist in the VFX Industry. Just something that has to do with VFX/3D/CGI or something similar, that could be interesting for someone who does not know much about this stuff. Preferable a book.
