Hi Guys, I'm trying to make Low poly birch tree but my output seems to be a little high and not good for our low poly game. Can anyone suggest to me any trick?
What you definitely should look for is a good reference image first. Your tree doesn't really look like a birch. But it doesn't look bad at all.
For the polycount, it all depends of your poly budget. The cheapest version is a plane with the image of a birch. The second cheapest version is two planes with the image of a birch. Third possibility: the trunk made of geometry, and the twigs with the leaves then made as images on a plane. You should get the idea
