Audio oriented design portfolio

I'm currently trying to turn my hobby into a profession.

Love working with electronics/audio gear. My goal is to get a designer position in a gamedev/advertisement studio.

My Instagram account barely has 100 subscribers, social presence/connections are at minimum, since my current job isn't digital.

How can I improve my portfolio and what would be the best way of reaching out to my potential employers/getting more connection?

I do not expect that hundreds of professionals will immediately rush to look at my portfolio and recommend me to work in their companies.

I really like how your portfolio is presented, looks very nice. It's hard to give advice because your goal seems very broad. What specific role are you seeking? Designer can mean a lot of things.

Thank you for the warm review. I'm targeting at the audio software market (VST plugins design). My second plan is a prop designer/modeller.

I can't comment on audio software market at all, but for games, you'll want to show models that can be rendered in an engine with normal, spec, gloss maps etc. Ideally these props would fit with the style and quality of whatever studio you are applying at.

Thanks, Neil. Do you mean UE compatible models or any game engine in general?

I would say take a look at UE5 metasounds. Currently not very sought after but I guess that's bound to change.
Lots of areas to explore there, make youtube tutorials, teach people, get traffic to your portfolio that way

It doesn't have to be Unreal, it's just that engine is widely known and is easy to setup good lighting and materials. Main thing is having assets work with PBR and rendered in real-time (UE5) as opposed to say Arnold or KeyShot.
