Do you still love your specialization after many years in the industry?

I am currently exploring the world of graphics and would like to know your opinion on an interesting question.

If you've been working in the industry for a few years in a specialization, do you regret not choosing an earlier other specialization? For example, because you found that another specialization would have suited you better? Do you still like the specialization you chose and wouldn't change it?

For example:

now after several years in the field, I would rather choose Realtime VFX instead of Character Art because of XYZ,
I wouldn't change Character Art, because of XYZ,

Lighting for films instead of Lighting for games,
Technical Art (Shaders) instead of Environment art,

VFX/Animation industry instead of games industry etc.

I would love to know your opinions from experienced people who have been in the industry for many years.
