Since graduating university, I've been looking for ways to practise and improve my portfolio (
shameless plug). So I reached out to Sanna /
@Elithenia/ for some expert advise and she's recommended doing a sculpt a day!
If you want to be a character artist, you need to make lots and lots of faces, and hands. And loooots and lots of them. Both from base meshes (try to reach a likeness within an hour or half a day, just pushing things around at a very low poly stage), and from a sphere.
I'll be starting with 30 heads in 30 days and hopefully be moving onto things like hands, clothes, folds and materials in the future. Here's the original thread! I'll be pulling the references from here

All heads are created using the ZBrush Female Base Head and completed within 30 mins - 1 hour unless stated otherwise.
