Feedback -- First Stylized Character

Hey everyone, I've been working on my first stylized character for my portfolio in hopes of landing a character artist job. I've made a full realistic character in the past, but enjoy the stylized route more and am hoping to get some feedback on my boy.
The concept is originally by Ahmed Beyrouthi, whose stuff rules! I've been having trouble with metals, and texturing the staff in general. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
