Transitioning to Maya. Got some newbie questions.

Hello, I'm transitioning to Maya and having a bit of problems.
So is there a way to set channel slider settings to ANY other position rather then Medium at startup? I want it to be Slow by default always plz... )

Ok click on arrow icon to unlock clock icon which control what you want

Thnks) Yeah I know how to switch it but I want it to be other then Medium each time I'm starting Maya. Don't want to turn to low each time... ((

I guess you could made a button out of it , in scrip editor there should be show all action option , when you click on channel icons it will show as code then just drag that in to your toolbar to turn it in to a button [might require some editing ]

Actually if you lock the clock and close maya it should be saved might not happen the first time maya is tricky

Make this in to a button :

channelBoxSettings slow 2;

Just in case you need something else in the future this is what you have to have ticked to make maya show everything [echo all commands ]

I've ended up to put this command also into userSetup.mel (\My Documents\maya\2022\scripts) to get it by default at Maya startup.
