I've been trying to model this by beveling the edges but I keep getting some N-gons and that's f'up. I figured a way to add the details on the side part I'm thinking of using trim sheets as my normals, but my main problem is the scope part that is connected to the main body I don't know how to do it with a clean topo. Thanks in advance for helping me.

Just try anything. The first thing you can think of. Go from there and 90% of time you'll realize wasn't too hard. And once you finish then it is easy to see all the ways you could do better.
There's a motivational but what I really wanted to add is, spend some time perusing @FrankPolygon 's sketchbook thread. Lots of comprehensive breakdowns of hard surface modeling techniques.
