Baking a model into a texture.

Hello guys, I was wondering how am I able to bake those lamps into the texture of the door ?
When I try to bake it, I get this as result :

short answer, not like this
the rays only pick up surfaces they can see from the top, everything that is obstructed, does not get baked.
the tutorial FourtyNights linked is pretty good

The door is flat. So why bake. Why not just do an ortho render with normal, position ,AO, cryptomatte AOVs . Could be done in any 3d soft
