Welcome to the voting thread for our next bi-monthly environment art challenge for September and October 2021!

The challenge is a way for real-time 3D artists to test their skills and create a piece of work based on concepts provided. It's open to those of all skill levels and we do our best to provide meaningful feedback along the way so everyone can come away from the challenge with actionable points on which they can improve their craft!

Below I've provided a concept for each category to get us started. As per the usual, this challenge will offer two environment options and two prop options - 1 hand-painted and 1 realistic / hard surface each. Please add your own concept ideas if you have any! Whatever concepts get the most reposts during the voting period will be chosen as our concepts for the next challenge cycle!

Even if you aren't planning on participating in the challenge, feel free to vote!

These are simply starting concepts for the thread, suggestions for alternatives are always encouraged! Do keep in mind that the difficulty level has to be that of which can be completed in two months' time for the environment, and one month's time for the prop.

To vote for your favorite concept(s), post a reply with the image(s) you prefer. The winning concepts will be chosen on the day of the next challenge, based on votes received. Voting will run until August 31st at 11:59pm PST and the challenge thread will go up September 1st, at which point the challenge will officially commence.
