Not so long ago, many architects could only dream about presenting self-made, realistic 3D images and videos of their designs to clients. Since its launch in 2010, Lumion has been changing the way architects work by helping them communicate their design ideas better and faster than ever before. Because of this, Lumion has been embraced by architects in over 150 countries.
Role and Responsibilities:
As part of an integrated team, you will;
Provide feedback and direction at all stages of asset production to ensure artistic and technical quality.
Take ownership of Lumion’s extensive content library to ensure that all models have up to date textures and materials.
Integrate approved art assets into Lumion;
Create, fix and polish outsourced textures and materials to target specifications;
Work with the Content Manager to determine art specifications and guidelines for new content as well as be involved in the market research.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who is creative by nature, autonomous, production and has a proven track record in the field. You listen well, are a patient, supportive and constructive team player. You are passionate about achieving a realistic representation of materials and textures in a 3D engine, and should be eager to help us push the boundaries to solidify Lumion as the premier visualization tool for Architects around the world.
Worked closely with leads and art teams to create high fidelity texture maps for production assets that are also performant.
Strong understanding of PBR rendering and materials and you have competent PBR texturing skills
You have a solid understanding of art fundamentals (lighting, composition, proportion, colour theory, etc.)
Requirements:
Works and lives within the EU Time Zone
3+ years' experience as a professional Texture artist.
Strong portfolio of realistic, high quality textures.
Self-driven with strong communication skills and are comfortable working in an environment of honest feedback and iteration
Experience working with implementing 3D work into a 3D engine.
