This is my first post on this forum and i just wanted to introduce myself and show some of my latest portfolio pieces.
I just got into handpainting so here is some of the handpainted assets i've done.
So this is the first handpainted asset i did. The concept is made from the AMAZING Moniek Schilder. I also did i bit of animation in Maya for this piece aswell. I've always wanted to breathe a bit more life into my assets and i feel like a suddle animation does a lot for a piece like this. So here's the second handpainted asset i tackled and this time the concept is from the lovely Dariya Ria. I actually tried to do this one as my first asset but didn't feel like i had the knowledge at the time to do it justice. So i came back to it a few weeks later and tried again. It was also here i started to do variations. Once the albedo map is finished and you have every material in seperate maps it's really easy to create variations in photoshop by adjusting the hue of different materials. And now for the latest project i did. This concept is from Becca Hallstedt and i had a lot of fun with this one. Here i went a step further with the variations by trying to add more personality to some of the variants. I think i could've taken more time to do some concepting beforehand but that's a lesson for next time. Also i don't wanna stray to far from the initial concept.
