this is the first week i have been able to devote some time to it, and i'm eager to get more comfortable with the Maya <--> ZBrush workflow for hard surface modeling.
smoothed in Mayai will maintain this edge flow/topology to make working on the low poly version easier. wire frame of the WIP for the high poly frame. lots of booleans in ZBrush!
Live Boolean is pretty dope. getting accustomed to being back in ZBrush and familiar with the UI.
I have been busy re-doing the same part for a while now! I think I finally got it right this time tho.
This piece is pretty complicated, and when I messed up one part, I would inevitably have to go back to the first step and start over. Tweaking is just too messy when it's a mesh that has been booleaned twice already.
So I am forging on with the tutorial and am here to post a progress pic!
