So now I can only get access to my substance source stuff if I do this nonsense?

Lol. Never use subscriptions, never rely on the Cloud. Full install locally or GTFO.

You can still get access to the latest software builds from the substance site and just install them from the installer. I have 150 days from my subscription, I'll be switching with a new subscriotion only then.

Yes, I usually follow the don't subscribe rule too I have perpetual license for painter and designer, but I wanted some base materials so sub for one month but to use it now I have to go through all this hassle, sheesh.

I'll defend it by saying that in terms of cost over a year, the subscriptions have been pretty good value - not far off what my usual upgrade costs were prior to subscribing and with a few added benefits thrown in.

The price has actually dropped compared to last year as well - if you know you're going to subscribe I'd suggest doing it now and getting the pro-rata refund

You still have access to your Source points and downloads, whether you migrate your license or not, make sure you login onto the platform with your Substance login and not the Adobe one. We'll provide a way to transition points and downloads to the Adobe account in the near future.

Still waiting on confirmation on how to transfer Source points before migrating. Any news?
