ZBRUSH missing brush icon

Anyone know why the brush type is missing? No matter what brush I use, it's blank. Brushes work fine otherwise.

Have you tried re-setting your UI? Preferences > Config > Restore Standard UI

Alternatively you can Preferences > Config > Enable Customize and Ctrl + Alt drag from the brush menu back to that spot in the UI. This video has a good explanation:

Restore Standard UI worked. Thanks! I still don't know what I did to make that happen.
