We are looking for an experienced, creative, team-oriented 3D Level Designer to join our team that can help deliver on game projects we are working on across both Unity and Unreal engines.
As a level designer, you will be responsible for developing levels and experiences that are engaging and rich in gameplay. Take your vision all the way from paper design to greybox and, ultimately to completion. You will be working under our Art Director, and collaborate closely with the rest of the design team, as well as the wider development teams – Art, Audio and Engineering – to help produce an engaging and coherent gameplay experience.
Our primary game project mediums are 3D, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality.
You can expect to have the following responsibilities:
Plan and block out environmental layouts, level scripting and object placement
Collaborate with fellow designers, artists, programmers and audio to help make the game experience vision come to life
Help create narrative elements within the game levels
Support the art team in the planning and pre-production phase through map and objective planning
Work with the Art Director and iterate on your work based on feedback and reviews
Address issues found by Quality Assurance
