3D Visualization Artist (UE4) Princeton, New Jersey
JOB DESCRIPTION: Michael Graves Architecture & Design in Princeton, New Jersey is seeking motivated and talented 3D Visualization Artist (Unreal Game Engine) to join our dynamic internationally acclaimed team at our Princeton headquarters. The candidate will work with our design team to produce conceptual and photo-real 3D renderings, animations and virtual reality experiences.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: We are interested in candidates with a professional degree in 3D animation or Gaming (BA, BS). This position requires working onsite at our Princeton New Jersey Office. This is a full-time position. Qualifications are outlined below:
- One to three years of professional experience.
- Unreal Game Engine experience is required. Basic understanding of lighting, materials, and environment building. We create everything from stills, animations, VR 360 images and virtual reality walkthroughs using UE4.
- Must be able to show a portfolio of environments rendered with UE4. Portfolio should show a good understanding of light, color, composition, and materials. Portfolio does not need to show architectural renderings, game environments are fine. Renderings must demonstrate quality similar to a AAA Game.
- Proficiency in modeling complex buildings and objects using 3ds Max. Must know how to UV unwrap objects. Knowledge of how to create PBR Shaders is a plus.
- Knowledge of Quixel Mixer, Quixel Megascans, C++, UE4 Blueprints, Twinmotion, Enscape, Auto CAD and Revit is a plus.
- Knowledge of how to create virtual reality walkthroughs for the HTC Vive is a plus.
- Ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings.
- Fluency in Photoshop for basic editing and compositing. Basic knowledge of After Effects to edit and compile animated videos.
- Flexibility to work on multiple projects within tight deadlines.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no future sponsorship required.
