Hi guys,
I was hoping I could get some feedback on this one.

Could you maybe post your gloss map? It looks like every metal has the same gloss value.

@Zi0 Yeah sure. Btw is there any chance I'm somehow making it look worse with the lights I'm using when rendering?

It seems so your lighting makes everything look more flat. Metal parts also have a bit too much grunge on them.

Hey, this looks very nice. I do think the textures are looking a bit uniform, especially when looking at your roughness map. You could think about the parts that will be touched the most and make them a little glossier to show how the roughness is being eroded away by hands rubbing all over them. You could also add some fingerprints to the same areas. For the normal map on the back grip, you could dial back few spots to make it a little less bumpy just to have more variation.

Hi guys thanks for the feedback @Zi0, @Celinecote
I tried to fix the issues you named, but I don't think I'm there yet. I lowered the amount of grunge on the metal, I've also lowered the strength of the bumps on the grip but I did it for the whole piece not only for some parts. I though about adding some fingerprints but in the end it looked bad but I did end up making some parts  glossier than others.

I do think I can push the textures further so that's what I'm gonna try. But lighting is the thing that drives me nuts because I'm unable to set-up a scene without using too many light sources.

What render engine are you using and with how many lights? As Zio said before, the lighting is making your render very flat. One thing it could be is the diameter of your light sources. A larger light will produce softer shadows and reflections and if it's too high it can make metal looks very flat as you can see in the image on the right. Overcast HDRIs can also cause this since the clouds scatter and soften the light coming through.

There's this article that covers how to light guns in Marmoset if you haven't come across it yet: https://marmoset.co/posts/lighting-and-rendering-guns-in-toolbag/
The lighting principles should apply to any engine you're using though.
