Help for Beginner :P

Hey guys, im planning to get into Digital Art. Are there any free and good alternatives to Photoshop?
I sadly dont have the money to spent right now. Also someone recommended me the Wacom Intous M so i guess it should be able to work with it. Not sure if its compatible with any programm or if it matters in the first place.

Affinity Photo, though not free or as fully featured when compared too PS but for a perpetual licensed product, then indeed an extremely competitive price point alternative.

If you're painting, Krita is a good free alternative to Photoshop. There are a few weird UX stuff like the text tool but otherwise it's not anywhere near as bad as gimp in that regard.

Oh and uh, as an owner of a Wacom Intuos Pro M... I'd say it's "compatible" with almost anything, you don't have to worry about that.

Yep, add one to fdfxd2's post, Krita for painting and gimp for image editing, especially if you haven't used PS much already.
