Tic Toc Games is seeking a 3D Character Animator with a love for character acting, action/fight choreography, and a desire to work on indie console games.
You would be creating high quality, production level 3D character animation.
Responsibilities:
Work with the Art Director to create visually appealing, high quality animation.
Create dynamic, energetic action animations based on provided reference and carefully follow instructions for linking/transitioning between different animation states.
Communicate with Producer and Art Director to ensure art quality deadlines are met.
Follow direction and feedback in order to revise animations, if necessary.
Work in an organized manner, keeping close track of formatting and naming conventions.
Deliver video playblasts in addition to working files (ie .mb, .3ds).
Export game-ready animations in FBX format with clear, usable directions for programmers/implementation team.
Requirements:
We are looking for an animator who wants to create the highest quality animation possible, experienced in keyframing strong acting poses.
Experience with combat/fighting animation and character acting.
2+ years practical animation experience working in interactive media or film.
Experience working with IK/FK rigs.
Expert knowledge of Maya or 3DS Max.
Strong knowledge of character posing, animation timing, and the 12 principles.
Able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with all development disciplines: programming, art, design, and production.

A strong interest in mobile, console, or PC gaming
Passion for illustrating.
Experience with ZBrush.
BA in a related discipline or technical equivalent
Experience in agile development.
