How can I use photoshop brushes in Krita?

Bought a cool pack of brushes, however, they are in .abr format and I don't think it works with Krita. From a few videos I've watched, they say to just go into the brush presets and click import, then find the .abr file and import it, but it doesn't appear at all for me. Apparently, some photoshop brushes just flat out won't work in Krita, it's a hit or miss. Anyone have any experience doing this? Could greatly help.
