I'm gonna be straight ahead: Maya isn't loading my textures. it doesn't matter if 32bit or 16 bit .tif or .png. Sometimes, depending on the configs it loads but then, my displacement maps get darker values clamped out in a sort of "water level". I've already done the measures that would fix it - as I'm using UDIMs, I have to set values to go beyond 0 and 1 - and indeed for 1 mounth it had been working, but now, uppon a sudden it stopped working.
The following errors occur: "failed to load image" or "doesn't exist".
I had been working with 32 bit .tif for a mounth, and when I began having this errors I found out Maya doesn't support them. Isn't that strange?
What could be possibly happening? I've tried everything already, from starting a brand new project to reinstalling Maya. Nothing works! Please help!
My system: i7-8700 3.2 ghz, 24 gb ram, gpu: gtx 1080.
