Maya freezes when opening scene file...help

I just started learning Maya, making a hard surface model. It worked fine but now when i open it (open scenes) it loads the tools in the outliner but not the model and it freezes.

I tried importing it, same issue. It doesnt show any error...just freezes
When i double click the scene, its just loading forever.
I use a Windows computer.
I didnt delete the history maybe thats the issue? Well it doesnt matter cause i cant delete it when i cant open the file.

Any ideas how to fix it? Thank you!!!

Can you import the file?
Have you saved a .ma or .mb file?

I cant import, same thing. Its an .mb file.
