Hello,

I am new to marmoset and learning to do hair cards. I noticed the ends of the hair is fuzzy and pixelated. Does anyone know why it does that and how to fix it? I did the hair textures in zbrush. Is it to do with the thickness of the hair strands, or a setting I need to tweak in marmoset? Any help would be really appreciated.

This is due to the dithered blending technique, alpha pixels are either 0 or 1 (fully transparent or opaque), and then the result is multi-sampled to blend it smoothly. It may look somewhat noisy in the viewport, but it will smooth out when you render the final image. Increasing the number of samples will soften it further.

In Toolbag 3 you can change this in Capture Settings (Ctrl+P), in Toolbag 4, we've moved it to the Render object properties, Render > Output > Image.
