Hello fellow developers, we are a small company,
who rushes towards their first game preview on Kickstarter. Our at the moment
"untitled game" is a 3D first person open world survival game in a low poly art style,
which we develop in unreal engine. The basic gameplay we are using, consists of mechanics found in the survival
genre, but we are trying to give the game a twist into a different direction
with the usage of a progression system. The progression system is like a timeline
the player has to clear on his way to the final step of his adventure. While he
progresses through the timeline, he has to jump from age to age, starting with
the stone age and ending in the futuristic time. With each jump (e.g., from stone
age to bronze age) he gets a pool of new opportunities e.g. additional tools, structures
to build or more effective ways to solve the problems, he encounters on his daily
life.
Additional to the mentioned core feature, we are planning to crank the twist up
a notch. We planning to step our toes into a big exploration update, where the
player will be able to explore other civilizations, big caves, fight bosses or
find a dungeon, if he is really unlucky. But wherever there is a danger, there
lurks opportunity. In addition to that, we are planning a system for clan wars,
where the player will be able to create a clan for himself or him and his friends
to fight against invading clans (npc’s or players) or hords of creatures.
Sadly we are currently unable to pay ether our
or your wages, but if the game gets financed, we would be happy to plan not
only our current, but our future endeavors on the basis of the experiences we
are collecting in this project. If you are still interested, we are not only looking
for artists with expertise in low poly, but a sound artist as well. If you are
not one of those two categories, we would be happy to receive your message as
well and maybe we could fit you into our equation. Please contact us via private
message, under this post or in Discord iMpAviDo#3454, so we can exchange further information’s.
Best regards
