Hello Polycount ! I need some feedback for this project. I was inspired by "The witcher III blood and wine "street.
I start this project in December. Begin to collect reference and learn Designer at the same time
Link of the reference:
https://www.artstation.com/artwork/B6GzlI take screenshot with nvidia tool to add more reference
I'v already planed to add props, decals, foliage to the street. Lighting /post process will be also change
any advice would be great ! thanks a lot.

I'm not so sure about the double-archway passage, it looks odd with no support in the middle.
I'm curious how you did your texturing. Have you seen this thread with details about their shader setup?

I think they use color value to get 16 different textures per color. but in my case I don't need so many textures.
Double-arch was not finished yet. I'm adding props foliage and refine textures.
Could be awesome Eric !
I add Foliage, tweak some textures. Do you guys have any feedback ?
If i may, (i'm not an expert) although you did a tremendous job on the shaders and modeling and even though no repetition is to be seen, it feels kinda generic somehow, maybe you could add some more story-telling elements with props and little details, i don't know, maybe to capture the daily life of the people of the city - if you didn't see this video , check out this senior environement artist from Naughty Dog explaining his workflow : 1:22:00

I agree with the posters above: some mid-freqency detail and more small assets would be of help, some baskets, some mugs, hanging laundry, wheels of cheese maybye.
I would also add some extra decals: some dirt coming up from the ground, some some cavity dirt for all repetative props and maybye something for the corners to whiten the edges a little, just keep them nice and sharp, In my opinion this should some extra UMPH to the level.
You may also experiment with the skydome more. Some defined and epic white clouds would fit the style perfectly.
Agreed with the skydome, I'll try something. For now i'm adding more props.
For the road, i'm using this screen. But yeah it feel very narrow if something like a carriage had to pass there.
