im gonna remake allison roads environment, maybe even script few events i was a big fan when it was canceled but didnt know 3d. this is just for me to look back, lol so i dont care about being professional so hello strangers if anyone sees. everything so far is placeholder
3-4 hours in with room 1 expected time : however long it takes

started this thread like 6 hours ago progress seems to be happening fast but im only on the major models not even detailing yet.

i modeled a fireplace but it aint done yet slapped some wood oin there and it turned out ok, ill do better textures when i get a texture software probably substance

i decided to move on from the room for now, ill make the rooms. then start with bigger furniture and then details like books trash etc last. 

also this hallway feels way to tight but is accurate to the real thing i believe

started working on the kitchen and bathroom, ill upload some bathroom pics later im lazy. shapes are for general scale, matching it with alot of video and image reference lol

Ue4 has some awesome lighting stuff, this is far different than doing dailey renders and shit like that lol but im enjoying it

edit: i need someone to program a first person player controller, with some camera shake and realistic stuff i guess, i will pay if anyone sees this lol

You can check out some of the free or paid assets on the marketplace. I definetly remember seeing something along those lines in there.
If you dont find what you need on the mp try posting on the unreal forums or subreddit for ue. Those are the places where you'll find ue devs and scripters lurking about.

I agree, its more like an archviz project than a horror game.
Maybe you can change it to a night scene and the light is coming from the moon. Just need to make the light color blue and turn down the intensity.
Or maybe you can switch to a cloudy scenario where the sunlight is very dim and penumbra is stronger.

yeah, ill change it up to be scary eventually, its alot easier to build in and look around like this. i might have different light scenarios but night time will definitely be the main one
