General question (for hard surface)...
I always had problems with proportions, How the hell people get them right so quickly using few images. I am having a stroke trying to nail it with background side images... Mostly primary shape is the problem, small details arent that hard, can be nailed easily using some techniques...
But how the hell i get accurate stuff just by eyeballing ? Mostly blocking out the model takes longer time than getting clean sub-d high poly topology for me cuz of proportions. What is the proper way of approaching it ?

Then move onto blocking more individual elements, repeat. etc. build it step by step
What are we talking about? Architecture? handheld prop?
I always have human reference(s) in my scene while working on architecture/levels etc, if working on weapons having hand reference can be good.
Well, stuff like this.
In Amazon we can find more angles. https://www.amazon.es/Rowenta-Compact-Power-Cyclonic-Aspirador/dp/B01CIALC5G/ref=sr_1_8?__mk_es_ES=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&dchild=1&keywords=rowenta&qid=1612343629&sr=8-8
