[WIP] Looking for critique/feedback. Forgotten Desert Village

Any feedback/critique is welcomed. Can't seem to get any on other places/platforms. This is for my ArtStation Challenge, hope its ok posting it here. The theme is Space Opera for those unaware.
Got any cool ideas? Throw them as well. What do you guys think of the overall composition? Lighting i feel its fine BUT definetly can use some more poping. Starting to add some extra lights to guide the eye to interest points like the pyramid and the "road-like" structure in the middle.
On the possible things to do in the future is to add some kind of portal to the pyramid. They abandoned the planet via portal? Maybe.

Other ideas i have are tubes or some harvesting equipment on the "geisers" to power the portal. This would lead some cables to it for extra guiding or is it to much?

Also looking into making the planets merge with the BG better since im using the SkyAtmosphere on UE4 havent investigated if you can use a skybox. Short term research.


Some plants. Still underdeveloped part since they are just there sitiing.They have a glowing animation and wave a little.

Destroyed Building Close Ups.
Pyramid closeups. I feel the texture is still weak.
Rubble pile with displacement. Need to make a mesh with the texture in mind so it doesnt look that crappy.
This i what i have at the moment. Still places to improve/change. Would love to hear everyones thoughts on this since i want this to be a good portfolio piece.
