Hello, i've just downloaded substance painter and the fisrt thing i noticed when switching to render mode is that it's way too slow for the GPU i'm using (RTX 3070) so i checked the rendering settings and i see that both my CPU and GPU are active

but when i check the task manager i see that my CPU is used 100% while my GPU is at 0%

looking online for solutions i've only found people saying that it must be using it or that task manager is not reliable, yet nothing changes if i enable/disable the GPU.
i even tried to force the program to use the GPU in the PC grphics settings

it didn't do s&$t and now i feel like smashing something.
Does anyone have any other solution? i haven't had this problem in any other program.

That's with painter 2020.2.2
Gonna grab 2021 and see if they've fixed it.
edit: it seems to run ok after a bit of a poking - im gettting a load of nasty artefacting on the jade toad sample though
