[Blender] Booelan leaves extra face that cannot be deleted

I've made a boolean operation on my model to make a hole in it. I applied the boolean, but later I saw that it left extra face in the center of where cutter was positioned. The problem is that this face is not visible in Edit Mode, so I cannot delete it. It is also not a separate object, so I cannot delete it from the layers list. How to get rid of this?

If that face disappears when entering in Edit Mode then use "Mesh: Reveal Hidden" (Alt H) in Edit to bring it back.

Thanks, it worked. I don't know why this was hidden by default.

The shortcut to hide geo (H) it's right by the one to move stuff (G). You likely pressed it by accident at some point.
