Just recently, I've finished this hairstyle asset. It's made with hair cards, fully game workflow, ready to use on a character. It was a study of both long hair anatomy and game workflow for this kind of assets.
It was also the first hair asset I made after I finished Johan Lithvall hair for games course over a year ago. And my workflow is based on his awesome techniques.

All the cards placed by hand in Maya. Base textures made with XGen. Everything rendered with Toolbag 3.
