3dsMax - hair Card Tool wip

Hello.
I started to update my old tool for hair card creation in 3ds max. I am planning to release it but first I want to ask if is possible to change the GUI. I got tired of the default max's rollouts and I want something fresh. I saw some max users using Qt / Py for gui. It is doable to do this for a guy with 0 experience in Qt / Py ? If so, there is some online tutorials? I guess I can copy and paste my mxs code in the py code. Or is not so simple to do ?
