What about Toolbag 3 getting RTX support/Renderer?

I´ve tested TB 4 and I really would buy this, if I had not already 2 other 3D paint applications. For me, TB is all about baking and quickly putting together some renders and lookdev... I dont need another 3D painting tool, but I would really love to have RTX renderer in TB3 !

Even If this would be a paid update - can you make this happen?
I can not justify to buy my 3rd (or even 4th 3D painter...) just to have RTX support.

Please thing about this ! Toolbag used to be a small, fast tool for rendering and baking - but why adding painting as well?
I mean, we already have great apps for that?

I don't think it would be possible. Toolbag 3's renderer (the GI part of it) is based off of a voxel grid, I don't really think it would benefit much from RTX implementation. I have mixed feelings about TB3 vs TB4... because TB3 is actually quite a lot snappier, but TB4 produces noticeably better and more realistic results... it feels like a tradeoff for the time being. My assumption is that they are looking towards the future for when RTX cards become more than just an e-bay exclusive.

maybe there will be a "non-painter" version of Toolbag, that is everything Tb3 is/was but with added RTX renderer - hope dies last...

Thanks for the feedback. We do not have plans to add new rendering features to Toolbag 3, nor do we plan to release additional versions of Toolbag 4 with features removed.

Same here. Lite and Pro versions would be much appreciated. Shame there are no plans for that.
