Yea I can see what you mean, I think if I'd made the metal more rusty it would look properly independent, right now its too neutral of a colour. Thanks for pointing that out Pixel.
Regarding the legs, it's to further say, whether it's because of t he angle of the camera here or literally how you built it, it doesn't even look attached properly to the body.
I think maybe it would help if you gave a little more information to work with. Maybe kind of outline what purpose this guy serves in his world/story, what genre you're going for, what kind of fidelity/style (Dark Souls? MediEvil PS4)? Did you design this concept yourself? Is there a reason why he's got the squat? Is it intended to be sad, pitiful, funny? As outsiders we don't have a lot of context for this, so I suspect people are kinda throwing thoughts out trying to understand what feedback you need.
The metals probably actually need more patches where they AREN'T rusty, so they can catch reflections and contrast from the roughness of the bone. Else, maybe some oil/drips or something else that might catch light to prevent it from coming across as flat. The material work in general needs a little assistance, but I think it's worsened just by conceptually not having much variety in roughness/glossiness values.

Furthermore the metal parts are kinda wobbly and I barely can see a difference between the bone and metallic parts.
