When texturing in Toolbag 4, is there any way to use a color picker to select a color directly from the viewport, or pick a color from a reference image (I might have open in a different application)? I can't find any way to do that...

Also: is there some way to define the depth of a fill layer like in Substance Painter? Meaning, create a fill layer, then create a mask for that fill layer to e.g. create scratches that have depth (in the normal map) to them?

I'd be good if drag-and-dropping materials from the library to the viewport (to directly assign materials to specific IDs only) would work for object ID maps also. Right now, it seems that it works for material ID only. It displays the object ID map when dragging the material over the object, but then simply assigns it to the entire object.

    Thanks for the feedback.

There is no color picker yet but that is on the todo list.

If I understand your question correctly, you can define depth via the Bump map type. Set a bump value higher than 0.5 to push out, and lower than 0.5 to push in.
