Hello, I'm doing Ritz from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance from the GBA by Square Enix.

However since the real gameplay is with sprites I want to make it low poly and handpainted. Kind of like this reference from :

So far I did a front view with similar proportions to the reference.
I'm planning on just doing everything on 3DS Max and then paint the textures in photoshop, not touching zbrush,
I don't know if it will work or I do need to make an ambient occlusion map with the detail, I don't think it needs normals, etc.

I did the Highpoly in Zbrush, then the retopology in Topogun and baked it in Marmoset, now I'm coloring it in Photoshop, I still need to add another set of pieces like the weapon, hair and cloth.
No one uses it though, partially because it hasn't been updated in about 10 years.
